Blackwell Grange Hotel Wedding Photography - Darlington - Durham

Blackwell Grange is steeped in history and character having been built as a private home by the Allan Family. Building commenced in 1693 and was finally completed in 1717, with the property being passed down through the family until 1953. The hotel has 108 comfortable en-suite rooms some with four poster beds.

The 17th century mansion is set in 9 acres of beautiful wooded parkland surrounded by an 18 hole golf course, it is the perfect location to make your wedding day special. Blackwell Grange is a highly sought after wedding venue and is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies for between 20 to 150 guests. The Jacobean Suite is perfect for larger wedding parties for up to 150 guests whilst the George Allan Suite offers a more intimate setting for up to 80 guests. For evening receptions the Jacobean Suite can accommodate 200 guests with the George Allan accommodating up to 130, both rooms have a dance fall and licensed bar.
