J & M had great weather for their outdoor wedding at the Hall Garth Hotel in Darlington. Although we have covered a number of weddings at Hall Garth, this was the first we’ve done outside in the secret garden. Below are a small number of images from their day…

K & C’s Wedding at St Hilda’s & The Grand Hotel
When I first met K & C there were just the two of them, but now there’s been an addition, their beautiful baby boy Jack. Throughout the whole day he was as good as gold! As many couples do, K had travelled back to her home town of Hartlepool for her big day. K & C were married at St Hilda’s on the Headland on a breezy but sunny day. K had a wonderful horse drawn carriage for her journey to the church. She was in very good spirits, even after a seagull had pooped on her dress, lucky some would say! After some pictures in the local gardens and the beach it was on to the Grand Hotel for their wedding reception. Below are a small number of pictures from their big day…
C & C’s Wedding at St Cuthberts
C & C booked their wedding with us well over a year ago but it just seems like yesterday. It was great to see them so happy on their big day. C & C were married at St Cuthberts in Billingham and then it was off to the Thistle Hotel in Middlesbrough for their reception. The weather was great, sunny the whole day! Below are a few of C & C’s pictures …
J & C’s Wedding Photography at Newcastle Racecourse
Just a few photographs from J & C’s recent wedding. J & C were married at St Gabriels Church in Heaton followed by a wonderful wedding reception at Newcastle Racecourse. As usual the weather was sunny one minute and raining the next but it did not spoil their big day. J & C were great from start to finish and all their guests (around 250) had a great time. Below are a very small sample of photographs from their big day…
R & K’s Wedding Photo’s at the Trincomalee
Mandy and I were married on the Trincomalee and we always look forward to going back there. We have been lucky enough to have photographed many weddings at this wonderful venue and everyone is special. R & K’s were blessed with great weather for their big day which went perfectly. All the guests mingled on the Trincomalee and also made the most of the Historic Quay. Everyone had a great time, including Mandy and myself. Below are just a few of their wedding photo’s at the Trincomalee…
L & M’s Wedding Photography at the Hilton Newcastle
Mandy and I were so lucky to be part of L & M’s big day. When we arrived for the bridal preparations we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Her dress was (from Truly Madly Deeply) absolutely stunning! As an avid Newcastle United fan she had a small black and white belt.
Whilst Mandy continued with the bridal prep I headed off to see the Groom. On arrival he was still in the shower so this gave me time to get so close ups of the rings.
When the flowers arrived they looked fantastic, Lilly Rose Flowers had done a great job! At this point the weather was still looking ok although the forecast was for heavy rain.
L & M had a full Catholic mass at Corpus Christi RC Church in Gateshead, a stunning church. The priest was a close friend of the family which added that personal touch. L was walked down the aisle by her mum and her uncle.
L walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon and left the church to Local Hero by Marc Knopfler (which is played when NUFC walk out onto the pitch).
Unfortunately at that point it started to rain; well it was more like a torrential down pour. Luckily the bride and groom only had to walk a few steps to their car then it was off to the reception at the Hilton in Newcastle.
The Hilton is a very grand and prestigious venue and there had been no expense spared.
Their cake was an assortment of cupcakes supplied by Lottie McPhees of Whitley Bay, topped with a cake fashioned in the Tiffany style box to match the theme of the engagement and wedding rings.
After their meal Mandy and I headed off with the bride and groom down to the Quayside for some extra pictures. The rain was not quite so heavy at this point and the black and white umbrellas added a new touch to their Newcastle colours. With a few onlookers we got some great shots and then it was back to the Hilton for the evening reception.
At this point the evening guests had started to arrive, all 180 of them! L & M had their first dance as a married couple to Chris Brown’s ‘Forever’.
L & M are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet! Very much in love, with their whole future ahead of them.
Mandy and I wish you both all the very best for the future. Below are a tiny sample of photos from their day…

D & I’s Wedding Photography at Slaley Hall
Mandy and I had a great time at D & I’s wedding at Slaley Hall. The venue was especially busy as on the weekend of D & I’s wedding as it was also the PGA Seniors Golf Championship. However their expansive grounds and highly skilled staff are used to running several events at one time. The weather was not great but this did not dampen the spirits of the bride and groom or any of the wedding party, who all had a fantastic time! D & I never stopped smiling the whole day, and it was obvious to all that they were very much in love. Below are a few pictures from the day…
