Corpus Christi RC Church Wedding Photography - Gateshead - North East

Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church was built in 1934 and took 2 years to complete.  Statues of St Joseph’s and St Cuthbert's are positioned in the alcoves high above the front of the sanctuary. An inscription on the stone pillar nearest the Sacred Heart altar refers to the large crucifix , formerly beside the pulpit but now over the tabernacle, which was donated by Father Brown in memory of his mother.
