Walworth Castle Hotel is set in the beautiful countryside of the Tees valley it was built in 1189. It is one of the few castle hotels in England, the 12th Century Walworth Castle Hotel is a perfect setting to make your day memorable. Set in 18 acres of lawns and woodland, Walworth Castle Hotel offers a magnificent setting for your wedding reception, and the castle offers picturesque surroundings for all of your photographs. The castle has a license for civil marriages which would take place in the ballroom in the historic part of the castle.

The castle offers 32 themed bedrooms with four poster beds; it also has one of the largest bedrooms in Britain, the King James Suite, named so as King James stayed at the castle in 1603. The magnificent room features a tented double Jacuzzi bathanda dramatic 16th century ceiling within the lounge area which has a secret doorway leading to a circular tower with a king-sized four poster bed. This room is often used as the bridal suite.
